The cyclic immersion test chamber, also known as a cyclic immersion corrosion test chamber, is an apparatus designed to simulate the corrosion behaviour of materials under specific environmental conditions. Primarily employed to determine the weathering and corrosion resistance of metals subjected to cyclic immersion testing in salt solutions, with or without applied stress, it is particularly suited for quality control during the manufacturing of metals, including aluminium alloys and steel materials, as well as for evaluation during alloy development. Depending on the chemical composition of the test solution, this procedure can replicate the corrosive effects encountered in seawater splash zones, de-icing fluids, and acidic salt environments. Cyclic immersion testing is applicable to metals and their alloys, metallic coatings, conversion coatings, anodised coatings, and organic coatings on metal surfaces. It involves immersing the specimen in a specific liquid, removing it for drying, then re-immersing it in the liquid, followed by removal and drying... Following this cyclical operation, the specimens are removed for observation and evaluation to study material corrosion resistance in specific environments. This method is suitable for accelerated artificial weathering corrosion testing of weathering steels used in railways, bridges, building materials, steel, and aluminium alloy industries. Suitable for small specimens undergoing cyclic immersion testing, this product simulates natural atmospheric corrosion conditions outdoors. By conducting accelerated artificial climate corrosion tests on weathering steel and its welding materials, it evaluates their quality performance against outdoor atmospheric corrosion. It is suitable for immersion corrosion testing of product samples in various research institutions, factory laboratories, and sectors including aviation, aerospace, machinery, and electronics.
1. Temperature control instrument: Genuine imported touchscreen temperature controller with 7-inch touchscreen PLC control.
2. Temperature PID control employs PID + SSR technology. System-wide coordinated control enhances stability and service life of control components and interfaces.
3. Temperature control comprises three independent circuits: one for the main chamber and two for the immersion chambers.
4. Sensors: PT100 temperature sensors.
5. Time relays: Imported from South Korea, adjustable from 1 second to 9999 hours.
6. Dual-position time relays: Spray/stop duration freely programmable from 0.1 to 99 hours; capable of executing immersion cycle testing.
7. Actuating components: ‘Schneider’ AC contactors, “ABB” miniature relays, ‘Omron’ solid-state relays.
8. Pneumatic system: ‘SNS’ stable and reliable pneumatic components.
9. Utilises Suda Intelligent electric servo rods or YADEKA cylinders for lifting; cylinder shafts protected with corrosion-resistant materials.
10. YADEKA solenoid valves automatically control speed and height for smooth specimen lifting.
11. Lifting controlled by dual-setting time relays for automatic operation.
12. All lifting mechanisms employ corrosion-resistant PP material and SUS 316 stainless steel.
13. Lifting mechanisms remain stable without swaying during ascent and descent.
14. Lifting controls operate independently, preventing interference with temperature systems or other functions.
